A horror film – The Box – based on 1970 short story of Richard Matheson – “Button, Button” is scheduled for release on November 6, 2009 in USA. Starring of The Box includes Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, and Frank Langella. Filming of this movie began on November 2007 and the movie was finished in February 2008. The story goes like that – in 1976 at Richmond, Virginia, one night, poor suburban married couple Arthur Lewis and Norma with a young kid (Marsden and Diaz) get a gift from anonymous source. The gift is a wooden box with a button. A mysterious ugly stranger (Frank Langella) tells them on the next day morning that if they press the button, it will cause two consequences: the first one is that a person not known to them somewhere in the world will die; and the second consequence will be that they will get one million dollars. They have to decide within 24 hours what to do with the box.
